Progress of Shintake monitor work 20m
Speakers: Mr Masahiro OROKU (Tokyo Univ.), Mr Takashi Yamanaka (The University of Tokyo)
************************************************** September 10 15:30 - 17:30, ATF LC meeting room, KEK Participants : Terunuma, Araki, Kubo, Kuroda, Yamanaka, Oroku(WebEx), Kamiya(WebEx) *** Progress of Shintake monitor (ATF2 IP-BSM) work *** Slides by Takashi Yamanaka (Univ. of Tokyo) * Removal of the optical components has finished and we are ready to move the optica tables. * Items of crane operation - move the pulsed laser to the outside of the tunnel - move the laser chiller to outside of the tunnel - move the laser mounted table to the outside of the tunnel and replacement of the adaptors between the surface table and the tresle - align the vertical optical table to the beam line shims for level alignement will be inserted between the horizontal bench and the floor. Slides by Masahiro Oroku (Univ. of Tokyo) About PMT gain curve measurement * There is no significant change between this time and a half year before. *PMTs work properly in the low voltage area. Now we are preparing to examine the linearity of PMTs by changing the light amount. About Detector Allighment *At the same time with Bend and Final focusing magnet Suggestion There is no need to do the detector allighment at the same time. There are marks in the height of beam line. Allighment can be done using rotating laser.
