The Silicon Detector (SiD) Design Study will hold a Workshop in the UK on the 14-16 of April 2008. Everyone participating in SiD, as well as those interested in joining and learning more about SiD, are welcome to attend and urged to register and make travel and accommodation plans.
The RAL meeting will mark the freezing of the SiD global parameters, review first pass detailed subsystem parameters, and begin the technology selection process for the key detector subsystems.
General SiD status and progress will also be reviewed, and there will be the opportunity for interested new groups to learn about SiD and participate in the R&D activities and LOI process.
